Museveni to launch update of NRM register

President Yoweri Museveni who is also the national chairman of the ruling National Resistance Movement party will on Wednesday, February, 28, launch the updating of the NRM register.

According to the NRM Secretary General, Richard Todwong during the function to be held at the party headquarters along Kyadondo Road, Nakasero in Kampala, Museveni will launch the display, update and registration of all party members in all villages countrywide.

The launch is expected to start at 10am and will be attended by among others, the top leadership of the ruling NRM party, MPs and other officials leaning to the party.

The function will be among those to set the ground ahead of the forthcoming 2026 general elections where President Museveni is expected to stand again on the ruling NRM party ticket.

The development comes at a time when almost all political parties in the country are gearing up for the 2026 general election with a number of activities already underway.
